Family Happy Hour
Whoβs ready for happy hour?!? π This freezing cold weather, along with COVID woes, has my family longing for happy hour! π
When COVID was new and the world seemed to be falling apart at the seams, I cut hearts out of colored paper and asked the kids to write one thing that was making them happy about the last few weeks. I called it HAPPY HOUR. β€οΈ Not knowing how this activity would go, I had a little incentive for their participation. For each happy thought they wrote on a heart, they got to pick a piece of candy. π
It really made them look at the positives in the time of such uncertainty. We had a great time chatting about all the ways we had been spending our new-found time togetherβ¦I just never imagined it would last this long.
This weekend seems like the perfect time to remind ourselves of the good and fill our hearts with a little more happiness. ππππβ€οΈ
